That's about right for one in excellent condition. Prices are subjective as to what someone will pay. Ampeg was one of the first to have onboard reverb, so the early Reverberockets; especially the '61's and '62's, are historically significant. I believe Nat Daniels was the first to offer a combo with reverb on an early Danelectro.

Seems on the high end to me, but maybe things are trending that way with the Ampegs. . . looks like I sold mine at the wrong time!

The Reverberocket will bring more than any of the other Ampegs due to it's size and great tone at a reasonable volume. They were also Ampegs first amp to offer on board reverb. Not that the Gemini doesn't sound great, but it doesn't offer that much more power and the cabinet is much larger.

    not correct
    for instance
Superbreverb, B 15, Echo Twin, Super Echo Twin, Fountain of Sound, etc
worth more than an R-12 R
much less one with a freaking Utah speaker

now a Reverbrocket in Navy random flair
that would be a different story
but still not worth more than "any of the other Ampegs"
