65amps London pro or matchless lightning

    Sorry guy another which amp thread.

    Really want to hear from guys who have experience with one or both of these babies. I play a lot of stones, black crowes , faces, who, zep, dan auerbach solo type stuff. Came across audley freeds gibson clips and really fell in love with that sound. He was playing a 56 into a matchless...the 65 looks and sounds awesome too....65s a bit cheaper.

    Hmmmm. Decisions. Decisions.

    I'd go 65Amps purely because it's got Vox and Marshall tones in one =P
    and 65Amps is so HIP =p

    Thanks for the input guys....just bought a matchless lightning 15 NR head. Ill probably try and get a 65 london pro later...used price should be pretty cheap.

    Now I need to figure out what cab and what speakers im gonna get. Thinking maybe somthing with a alnico blue type speaker and maybe a g12h30. Hmmmm

    I preferred my Matchless Hurricane combo over my London combo - both great amps though.
