I have a Ceriatone King Kong 100 Kit coming and I see it shows a few of the preamp tubes are 7025. Anyone have any suggestions on what brand 7025 to get?

7025, 12ax7 and ECC83 are all basically the same tube these days. Back in the glory days of tube making, 7025 was a higher grade, lower noise 12ax7. These days manufacturers throw these terms around indiscriminately. You can do a search for "favorite 12ax7" and get lot's of opinions on which brand sounds best.

Blackburn Mullard 7025s would do nicely :Devil

As @Dan40 said, they are interchangeable with other 12ax7 types. With NOS they were designed to be lower noise, but with modern tubes its just a label.

Both of the above are correct. For what it's worth, mine (pre-assembled by Ceriatone) came with the JJ ECC83S

Only thing to consider is if it has a cathode follower. If so, avoid any Russian New Sensor tubes (Sovtek, Electro Harmonix, etc) in that slot. Chinese and JJ are fine.
