Hi all; I'm thinking about buying a vintage bassman of ebay. Any user opinions. Looking for amp that will be a really good pedal platform, Something warm with alot of tight lows. I use mostly strats and a bunch of pedals. play classic rock. So whats your opinion of this amp?

A clean Bassman 100 with a Fuzz Face is all you need for some KILLER fat Strat tones

My personal Bassman 100 ,I modded into a tweed Bassman on the front end .It's one of my best sounding "Marshalls"

It'd be a whole lot cooler if you did.

These are such great base platforms that for the price they are about the biggest no brainer out there. A mod or tweak here and there and you are ready to kill.

I think I know which one you are looking (or watching) but there are currently two on there.
