Nice job! Excellent covers......
Thanx Scott! I'm Barry Weber's friend from Nashvegas and was just wondering if you were going to put this years Nashville Amp Expo on your calendar this year? I help put it on with Sarge and the boys from Creation Audio and would love to meet ya in person and have you down so keep it in mind because it's a great tone party.Ask Barry about the biscuits!LOL!
Les Paul + Marshall =
Now that's tone. Great job.
Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout...tone for days...
Gracias mi amigo's!
Tommy, you be bringing the tone!!! I will crank up my '69 SuperTrem in your honor.
Now lets hear some Beck tunes brutha!!
Many thanx Fakebox! Hey Rick Benigbi, you need to come up to the next Nashville Amp Expo and bring ole Pastor Champlian with ya! We do some Jefferey Beck as well and I will do better next time and get some video. Merry Xmas to all of ya and keep it on "11"!
Awesome toneage man! Are both amps going into one cab?
Just one 73' 100wt into that 68' bass cab with the ole original G12H30's. I rotate using both heads just so they can get equal plating time and keep the caps in good shape. Thanx for the kudos and have a merry xmas!
That amp just drips tone with your fingers behind the wheel! Does your second 73 sound as good?
Loved every minute of every clip man.
You can cover decades of killer music with that amp and still have plenty of tone enough to create your own signature sounds too.
Probably my favorite amp especially if it was right before the printed circuit board mid year.
Love the Strat tones through it on the Skynyrd.
Thank God there are other amps on this planet so we can appreciate the Marshall even more!
Thanks for sharing the videos.
Thanx alot Jason and yes the other one sounds really good too. I can't be sure when I switched to #2 but I know I was running it when I did SSB/Purple Haze because it really nails the Jimi thang.
Yeah I'm using a Marshall SE100 (lineout box/attenuator) which with one switch punched in that tones it down something like 3 notches on other brands. I sure couldn't run them full up or would end up killing people or getting killed myself!LOL! I use a combo of things for just boosting the gain for solos which on that Zepp stuff I kicked on a Tim (set just for boost, no drive) at the halfway point. I've got those old Ibanez UE-400/405 that I use the TS808 and parametric e.q. for boosting as well. For the Hendrix stuff I've got a Dunlop Fuzzface,Aquavibe, and a vintage Vox 846. Those ole Marshall's sound great by themselves but can be shaped to do many different tones by just driving them a little harder on the frontend.....alot more versatile than you would think.Thanx again for the kind comments and Merry Xmas!
Man, thank you very much and it really makes me feel good knowing you enjoyed it that much! You are absolutely right about Marshall's because depending on what you run into them and how you set the vol/tone controls there is a wealth of great sounds that can be had. Merry Xmas dude and keep on RAWKIN'!!!!
Very cool !!
I like all your videos !!!
