Is there a big tonal diffence in the 74 Hand Wired Phase 90 compared to the CS Script Logo Phase 90 with the LED.

Not sure about that, but I just borrowed a friends '74 RI and it will be replacing my RetroSonic phaser. It just sounds right...

I like the sound of my 74-Phase 90, but this is the first phaser that I have tried in a long time. Its a good idea to get a true bypass mod done on it.

'74 RI stomps the EVH, not even close...

The EVH and "script reissue" (with or without LED) use the same circuit board, except for the "script" switch (the orange one is permanently wired to "script" mode).

So a comparison between the EVH (script mode) and the '74 is likely to be accurate for your needs. And in that youtube vid, I agree the '74 sounds far better.

If you can find one, buy a REAL script Phase 90, they sound that much better!
