Previous high on this day.....68 degrees
global warming = put on tin foil hat
It's bizarre, awful, pretty, strange, and dry up here a few miles north of you, Steve. I sure miss real winter....
Sacramento was in the mid 70's . Gorgeous day in NorCal
Snow pack is really low. I just went dirt bike riding up by Kirkwood in late January
Weather is a funny thing. Here in Phoenix we had a high of 59 cloudy and rainy all day. A week ago it was like 76.
Supposed to get over a foot of snow in Chicago. I sure wish I lived in California. I love it out there.
First January ever with no rain in bay area since they've been recording.
Pretty much the same down here in Monterey County ...
Kind of a simultaneous curse & blessing combination ...
Might as well enjoy the weather ... but heed the message ....
Beautiful day in Carmel-by-the-sea.
Preceded by the wettest December ever. Rain in July is becoming normal, which used to never happen.
It was 79 here the other day. I can't wait to move.
Yeah, it Changes like the weather.
At least a foot of snow today in Ann Arbor.
Here in Iowa, we had the coldest November I can remember, followed by a surprisingly mild December and January. Now today, I woke up to no power due to 6" of heavy wet snow taking down tree branches and, subsequently, power lines. And it's still snowing. I'll take your 80 degrees.
Almost a shame I spent the a.m. inside recording.
Yet here in normally warm Tucson we have San Francisco-esque fog right now. After continual, Mobile-like (I used Mobile as it has more annual rainfall than Seattle) rain the previous two days.
-31 F this morning when my wife went to work.
Having said that, this winter has been generally much more mild than last year.
Ah Tony..... I have such fond memories for my years in Ann Arbor '64 - '68. Someday before my time's up, I must retrace some steps.... I suspect that the north campus wouldn't be recognizable, but the main campus? Trees 50 years older?? I spent a couple of winters there zipping around through the snow on my Yamaha 50cc. And playing with my band at Clint's Club
Maybe it's time to take that "sentimental journey'. You and your wife would have a great time, I bet. It's really grown but still a great college town.
