When it's plugged into the pedal a hum kicks in, with the battery only - no hum. I have several adaptors, and the results are the same.
How do I get rd of it?

What kind of adapter is it? Do you use a daisy chain?

I looked at the wallwarts I have and the Boss ones are 200ma, the Electro Harmonix are 100ma. I'm using a pp2. I don't know what it's ma is. You might try a power supply with 200ma.
