Reminded me of Pools from Steps Ahead. Were you going for that kind of vibe?

Guitar was killing!!! Loved it. I am not posting here anymore!!! You slay....

Maybe I'll still post, but that was badass!!!!

Think the only clips I'm going to post for now on are ones
that feature the other guys in the band ... :jo

    I'm also with Scott & Goomba ...
& it reminded me of Pools too (one of my all time favorites ....)

    Thanks guys,
you better had post, it's great to check all the different approaches and styles.
This track was not my writing. I was given this to play on in the studio by another composer. I often wonder how you guys deal with situations where you're not in control of the sound. I pretty much was here, and went for a sound that fitted the style of the track. But sometimes i'm in the hands of an engineer. Wondered if that was ever a problem here, and how it was dealt with.

Yikes!!!!!! and Yea man!!! Killer playing and YOUR phrasing. I liked the sound myself. By the way in answer to your question on another thread we still need to mix and master ...... looking for money. The level of play is so high I'm hanging by a thread!

wasn't expecting much when the track first dropped (too weather channel for me). that all changed immediately, with your first note. loved the phrasing, timbre, note choices.

    matte, martin, chis,
Cheers for the comments. I pretty much felt the same when i went into the studio. Could have done a cheesy smooth solo, but i gave it a different slant and got away with it. There are a couple of other bits i posted on other threads if ya want to check them. I appreciate the listening and kind remarks.

    Mike.

You can always start threads here if ya wanna get a discussion going about specifics and i'll help all i can. Otherwise, let's get that lesson soon.
