My wife says "I don't get the Todd Rundgren thing"... but she did go with me to see him a couple years ago.

OTOH I introduced her to Rodrigo y Gabriella and she ended up liking them even more than me. We went the other night to see them too. Great show.

I'm lucky in that my wife likes just about everything. As far as I know, there's only one band she won't listen to.
    Pink floyd.

Nothing. My wife and I like pretty much the same music. She's also my lead singer. And a multi-instrumentalist (bass, drums, keys). I'm a lucky man.

She loves the 80’s, my musical taste definitely skipped over that horror show.
She dislikes most stuff I like.

Me: "Jane's Addiction is one of the greatest bands of all time."

Wife: "OMG - turn that noise down, I'm getting a headache!"

LOL - in fact, she bought *me* the AH tickets as a gift ... she was one of about 4 women in the audience of a few hundred ... she got all dolled up, too ... was a good night out !

My wife doesn’t care for 75% of what I listen too.

Lately I’ve been going to concerts with a group of friends instead of my wife and she thanks me every time.

    My last few shows:
    Bill Frissell
    Oz Noy
    Steven Wilson
    Jimmy Herring

My wife and I have many artists we both like and a few we don’t agree on. We met in college in 1977 after I sold all of my electric gear after being in garage bands in High School and only had a Yamaha acoustic guitar. So we were both into “acoustic” music at the time like CSNY, Dan Fogelberg, America, Beatles, etc. Our first date was Yes in the round at Notre Dame, which was a long ride from Kalamazoo. I’d say we agree on 75% even to this day.

I love Surf guitar music, she not so much. Willie Nile is a no go for her, too. She will tolerate Richard Thompson but I know she doesn’t care for it.

She loved Andrais Vollenweider and some other new agey crap back in the 80’s and I couldn’t run away fast enough. She kind of grew out of it, or at least until I hid the CDs and tapes from her until she did.

Hendrix. She may not hate him, but she certainly doesn't care for him.
