A cool 'animated robot' performance, but would you watch all of it?

Came across this on my Facebook newsfeed today.

Music is fairly good, the animation and visual concept is great, but at the end of the day, I found it a little creepy to watch. I kept imagining what the *real* performers behind the music might have been doing.

It reminds me of back in 1988 when I went to the World Expo and in the Japanese stand, they had this beautiful golden robot playing a classical guitar. It played PERFECT classical pieces, but the seats in front of it were always empty. I sat down for a few minutes to listen to it, but it felt weird and I left fairly quickly in the middle of a piece.

Makes your realise just how much the 'human' facets of music are so critical...

We have the whole Animusic DVD.

My kids love it. Ages 2, 5, 7
I am ok with it because it is a fairly accurate rendition of the physics of stringed instruments.
