My Axe FX is a witch. Burn it!
Keep going... And if a DSP is made of wood, it is made carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, and if a DSP is made of chemical elements, its made of protons/atoms, and if a DSP is made of protons and atoms a DSP = EVERYTHING
The best DSP chips are made by Analog.
What're the best DIP switches for "Chips & DIP"?
I haven't thought about that one in ages!
The best op amps that don't color your toanz are made by Burr-Brown.
Burr Brown purchased by Texas Instruments. They were a proud company back in the day.
A vacuum tube is just a light bulb.
A guitar is just a slab of wood to hold strings right on two ends
A song is just a bunch of frequencies in sequence
Reductionism is lame
Ah crumbs... I leave the industry and coyotes sneak in and pick off one of the peacocks.
Next you're going to tell me that Ericsson sold its amazing microwave division, or that Motorola is going to get out of automotive electronics... (no fair, I peaked.... dang this has been a messed up world).

I miss the old HP.
I SOOOooooo want the old HP Arbitrary Waveform Generator I used back in the 80's... It'd be so fun to experiment with LFOs and reed/horn/kazoo waveshapes, then back-design them into analog pedals.
If that ain't true, then what?
I had one of those radio shack electric component build kits. It opened my eyes years ago.
As I got older and into guitar pedals I realized that those chips can do so dang much.
But I dig the use of crazy little pieces that manipulate in their own weird way.
Like the difference between free range chicken and cloistered scared hormone boosted chicken mutates
So is this about: the Rat pedal is a calculator?
