A dumb question about attenuators?

    It goes between amp and speaker.

    2 1/4" jacks do the trick.

    Make sure to use speaker cables though. No instrument cables.

    Meaning, the cable which normally connects head to speaker cab will instead go from head to attenuator, and an additional cable of the same type will go between the attenuator and speaker cab?

    Head -> cable -> attenuator -> cable -> speaker cab
