1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

I sat in a few songs with my brother's and cousin's group and here are a few solos from it. Keep in mind I didn't really know a number of the songs and its not really my genre so I tried to keep it simple. Funny, my tone is a lot brighter on the recording then how it sounded on stage. I have a lot to learn lol!!! Hope you enjoy.

Hi, nice job there-some tasteful playing.
Nice to hear you in a live setting-you should do that more often!
I don't think the guitar sounds too bright, it cuts through nicely.

Thanks Jostein. I appreciate it. I'm pretty happy with the tone. I was hoping to dig in a little with the bridge pup and od but think it would have been overkill with the music and setup. For the record, I was the only one not miced and it sounded really nice and full on stage. I love playing live, just wish I had more time. Need a different job lol. Here is the basic rig.

    Very nice, Stephan!
The tone isn't too bright . . not for me, anyway. I like it - and the playing, of course! :)
