    Hey All,

So I have an intern at the church I work at and allow him to use my rig from time to time. I did so yesterday and just found the amp plugged in with a guitar cable! Doh! So I'm guessing he did this twice this week because he did not bother to ask me where the speaker cable was (it was in the bottom of the cab, duh!). So now I'm wondering what to do...should I do anything yet? I used the amp today for a bit with the proper cable and it works fine right now but I'm worried about future damage. Is there anything I can/should do?

It's most likely fine. If it were going to do any damage it would already have been done. It's definitely not something you want to do but if the amp's not cranked up and putting out a lot of power, a guitar cable can handle the lower current.

be subtle, change the cable to the right speaker cable, when he see's it, he might go, oh?! there it is. most would know not to already tho.
