I'd have booted him out on the spot.
There was a Goddess and a Vixen.
I've played a few a different music stores over the years. They never really knocked me out, and I'm a huge Gibson LP fan.
and as far as sounding just a tad weaker then a Les Paul couldn't agree more....I had one and liked it but sold it
That actually looks great. I’m not a Paul guy but anything that can be done to make it less bulky works for me. I thought a few years ago they made another version, Less Plus? It looked like they sawed it paper thin. It was like looking at an SG but with the shape of a Paul. I actually kinda liked it for what it was but I couldn’t get over just how thin it was.
Chromite = Balsa Wood. Had 2 of the original issues. Sold both. Played pretty good, but the tone was very mediocre. Has a Studio Lite also, which oddly I preferred.
Thin AND weight relief?
I know a guy who have a brand new one just like that one back in the day. He let me use it at a gig...I really liked it. He later traded it!
I tried a Less Plus in 2013? 2015? It was a really nice guitar - kind of wish I had bought it. There are a few up on Reverb right now.
If by some chance you're a young'un it should be noted that Kingdom Come's height of fame was years before the guys in Greta Van Fleet were even born.
Oh man. The LP Custom Lite in Metallic Sunset has been on my wishlist for so long.
If I found one of these in a shop and it spoke to me, I would be in a tough situation...
In the late 80s, Gibson also made the LP Custom Lite with a factory Floyd
Thanks for being kind.
Im attempting to make a joke about how alot of us thought Kingdom Come was a Zeppelin copy back in the days. They werent even as obvious as Greta Van Fleet.
I've got a Gibson LP Less Plus that sounds incredible! Every bit as good as any of my full sized Paul's.
This is a guitar that Gibson will make every now and then, like the deluxe and the junior/special.
Where’s that pic of Les and Paul McCartney?
I still have my 97 Studio Lite. It's not perfect but I love it. Regular thickness, balsa inserts, plain maple top.
Yes, I also recall that Gibson used the same guy in one of their ads.
****ing balsa wood... I mean, I used to literally joke about making guitars out of balsa wood and here I find Gibson beat me to the punch line...
Honestly, it doesn't matter what the guitar is made out of if it sounds and plays great but balsa wood just boggles my mind.
Here ya go
