I thought I'd better do a backing in order to dust off the cobbwebs! I haven't done one for quite awhile.

This one will be kind of a challenge to solo over because of my twisty changes...

    Have fun!

    Hi Jim,

    Thanks for the BT.

Will be interesting if I can play anything worthwhile with it.

    Cheers,

Sweet backing, Jim! I don't know if I have enough chops to keep it interesting, but I'll certainly give it a try. (I may not post the effort, though. lol)

Great job Dave! I liked the tone and effects you were using for this, a nice match.

Thanks all for the positive comments on the BT. I'm looking forward to hearing all the interpretations. :)

Both you and Harry will kill on this track! Can't wait to hear what you heavy hitters are going to do. :)

Here is the tab and notation for the chords I used:

I'll leave the naming of the chords for folks better at such things. ;)

Dave, loved that funky autowah.... Nice phrasing all through...

Gary, sweet cleans and nice major pentatonic ideas.

Sounded good, Scott. I like the tone you're getting with the Wizard.

    Here's mine. I added some instruments. . . :D
I originally did this as a clean tone check . . mistakes and all.

Jim, I liked that clip sooooo much I had to give it another try.

I pulled my Washburn J-6S off the wall and dusted it off for this take. The strings are flatwounds and at least 4 years old (and sound it!!).

    Amp was my SOD-50.

Jim and Scott thanks for the comments......

A couple of pretty cool takes Scott! I like the tone on the second one a bit better but there are cool ideas in both! :) I'm finding it hard to transition over the Gb changes in the last two bars of the A section. So I'm still working on how I'm going to interpret this... LOL But you gave me all sorts of ideas to think about.

    Jim
