After years of swapping pedals, I think I found the final lineup....

Menatone Fish Factory>Analogman KOT V4>Freakshow Digilog>Cusack TAW.

Is any one else done, and what are ya sportin'.

Never done. I am done swapping. I think I am just going to buy more sparingly and keep everything. I am finding that I enjoy having pedals on the board and others to just have fun with.

I figure the only way that one could be done is if you are about to leave the guitar completely forever, or you're not going to be around much longer. :(
I really hope that neither is the case for you.:dude

I am pretty much done, I've tried about 150 pedals in the last three years and gotten to where I want. I just posted the boards in the pedalboard thread so I won't bother with a run down here. Only two planned changes in the works, a Zvex Machine which is going where the tuner sits and whenever the Subdecay Prometheus comes out it will replace my MXR auto Q.

Other than that I think I am pretty well done. Gas tanks out, time to play some guitar :BEER

It's been months since I've had gas for a new pedal... Maybe it's because I've been too busy buying guitars and amps!
:jo

Anyway, here's my Rx for pedal gas: Pic Wah>Scaryface>DRD>Keeley comp>PA DR w/Cheese>PA Power Driver>AM mini chorus>AD9. :AOK

I could sure live with that. . .

Talk some about the scaryface. . . what does it cover that the others can't?

The Scaryface has the smoothest distortion of the half-dozen FF clones that I've owned. Mine has a tone control which helps to dial out any excess bass. Although the clean-up factor is great on the SF, I mainly use it as a 'punch in' lead pedal. The DR w/ cheese is my Voxy/grit pedal. It sounds like a good fuzz w/ the guitar vol rolled back a notch or two. But I'm most proud of the Power Driver. It is hands down the best pre-amp/eq/boost/gain pedal that I've ever played.

After several years of buy/sell/trade I've decided to start building my own. So far it's going well. I have a few kits that I've built and modded and.several perfboard builds so far. My builds now outnumber the purchased pedals on my board and I don't miss the pedals they've replaced. I have a couple more builds in process - a low gain OD and a distortion pedal. Building them is fun and cheap. I'll always be a pedal junkie - I just get my fix on the cheap now. :)

I'm just about done, I just like swapping in different drive pedals... I need to take a pic of the board I've been using lately for the board thread

The scary part is that I'm not even close to done with amps....
