Wow Mike ... that was simply beautiful ...
It had a hauntingly soulful quality, very rare to find in much of today's music..
That was quite special indeed ...

Thank you for portraying such emotional depth in your composition ...

Mike, what a most enjoyable way to start my day! I echo the previous sentiments...an excellent, personally-moving plaintive piece. Thanks.:phones

Nice orchestral jazz voicings and textures. I like your writing. For something like this, like Craig mentions above, you really need to check out VI Control @ www.vi-control.net - that community focuses on film & symphonic scores. Cool piece - keep writin' em.

Thanks for all the supportive comments guys. Gonna check the sites fred and Scoredog, so many thanks for the info.
Just played a gig at the North sea jazz festival in Holland. Man, I never saw so many famous musicians in one room. Metheny, Benson, Buddy Guy, Ralph Towner, Phil woods (remember his solo on Katy Lied) Wayne Shorter (remember his solo on Aja). JEEZ!!!
Woody thanks for the myspace thing, funny seeing you in that context.

Certainly not what I expected! Sounds to me like a prelude to a 2nd piece of music.

    Rob,
Good to be wrong footed occasionally. I love that (especially in films).
In context, on the album, it does sound kind of like a prelude, but what it goes into is another wrong footer, more like a zappa thing i think.
