A question for Musket V2 owners

Hi Folks!

I've recently bought a Blackout Effectors Musket V2. Despite the pedal sounds great, I find it quite noisy, specially when the "Pre" knob is set high. Some radio frequencies are interfering there also.

Is this normal in the pedal? Or this might be related to my house's electric instalation?

Comments will be enormously appreciated, thanks a lot!

Some pedals pick up the radio some don't, in my experience. I have it happen here at home, but not with my Musket.

It's probably due to poor wiring in your house. The last place I lived that was about 2 miles from a major radio station, and I couldn't use my effects loop or a wah pedal in that place without major interference, but had no problem with the Musket v2.

Thanks for the answers!

I've been feeding the Musket with a Fuel Tank Classic (great product, never had a problem with it, and it is completely noiseless). Don't know if feeding the pedal with the Fuel Tank or batteries could make a difference...

Any other opinions?

Nope, never got or getting any frequencies and I'm using single-coils. I don't crank the Pre knob when the fuzz is at 2:00 to 3:00 because really it's unwanted noise and doesn't make it sound any better IMO. So if the fuzz is at 2:00 to 3:00, the Pre is usually 7:00 to 8:00. And I've used a 1 Spot and Pedal Power +2 to power it, never had any problems.

Here is one of my mostly used settings for solo/Big Muff work, although it may vary for you since different rigs and all:
PRE: 8:00
MIDS: 10:00
FOCUS: 3:30
FUZZ: 3:00-3:30
TONE: 1:30-2:00

And here's a bunch of other settings to try:

I had a Musket previously (twice actually haha)

killer fuzz

but yea, the symptoms you described are normal for this pedal

it's not noisy at all though with the pre before 12:00 and the fuzz back before 75% though
