Nice job. Lots of heart, too. One of my favorites to cover, too. I guess in some ways it's really an old warhorse, but people really do dig it.

I study Hendrix intensly, and have loved him from the time of childhood.
I have a long way to go, but I must say I wish he could hear this clip...he would have been proud.Terrific job. I am currently working (struggling a bit) on little wing myself. Ive saved this clip to my favorites.
WONDERFUL tone and feeling, and welcome to the page,
    Mass

great ..evokive piece that really blends the soulfullness of the original song..and complexity of the harmonics.that only the electric guitar provides.....except for a few minor..things a ...MAsterpiece!!

Dude, that's sweet! I liked the slower laid back feel to it. Tone and playing were great.:D

    Thanks again guys.:dude

I used a Stratocaster made with a Fender Am. Standard body and bridge, Mighty Mite neck, S. Duncan APS-1 singles and a 59 Trembucker pickups, into a Boss GT-8 guitar processor. I used the Marshall plexi model of course, and the wah came from the GT-8 as well.

I played that clip for my wife last night and she got goosebumps....seriously.
I have been listening to it once a night before my practice to set my mind frame for little wing, as I said I am working on it now.
    It still mesmerizes me.
Post more Hendrix clips..you certainly have a fan base here with me.
    Best regards, Mass

Best regards to your better half, Mass!

I am incerdibly honoured by your words.

I'm not quite shure that my versione is a proper study version because I was interpreting what I remember from versions by various guitar players.

I never heard the original studio version by Jimi Hendrix, but I really like his live versions on "Jimi Plays West" and "The Jimi Hendrix Concerts".
I like the versions by SRV, Andy Timmons and Steve Lukather, as well.

    Try and check them out.

    Thanks again.
