A really short test recording of the direct out on the Gallien Krueger MB112 combo

    This is just 10 seconds long. It was a test to see a) if I could get rid of most of the hiss that I've been fighting for over a year and b) if I could get a decent recording of the one out on the Gallien Krueger MB112 combo. I really like this amp but it's been a real struggle figuring out how to record it (mostly because of all the noise I've been getting in all of my recordings). The guitar is my maple long scale Heritage H575. I'm running a line out direct from the MB112 to a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 into GarageBand.

    There's so much noise around here that it's hard to tell, but it seems to me that it came out pretty well.
