Here is a clip I put together in about 2 hours. Not pro-quality, i know, but I posted this at Harmony-Central and it was as if I posted a techno/hip-hop song. Drums are programmed with Superior Drummer 2.0, I used Euro Blue for the rhythm, Studio Lead for leads and Smilefans P-Bass patch
For the record, I don't normally play this type of tune, it has kind of a late 80s flavor to it? Anyways, let me know what you think.

Yep, sometimes it just comes out. In my defense I did dress as Dee Snyder for Halloween back in 86. Maybe that isn't the best defense...

What patches were used by chance? Sounds good to me on the ipad2.

    thanks!
    Euro Blue - rhythm guitar
    Studio Lead - lead guitar
    Smilefan's P-Bass preset

All played with a Guild Bluesbird and recorded direct into Reaper using direct USB connection. I actually though it sounded decent, but I'm getting a lot of critique on a couple of forums. I'm just a normal hobbiest playing around here. Just having fun you know?

Dude it sounds fine, dont worry about about all the criticism that isnt constructive. We have a world of arm chair EVH players out there. As long as you enjoy your toys you are fine. Isnt it about enjoyment anyways??

Yep. I'm not worried about it. Just a little put off to share on some forums that just tear it apart. No big deal. Thanks for the input, btw.

That was nice. I liked the tone.

Just one thing. Lose the 'lead' bass technique. It would have been much better if you stayed in the pocket and tied the rhythym guitar to the drums.

    Other than that ....sounds good.

Thanks for the input. I completely agree, a bass player, I most certainly am not.

I had 20 minutes tonight. Tried to improve the bass line. Not sure I succeeded.
