    Hey guys,
Just wondering if you guys think the Jazz Chorus' Distortion can do a good job in mimicing the distortion found on the old solid state vox amps?

If not, what do you think can give me that sound?

    Thanks

I'm not sure what you're shooting for, but the distortion on my JC-120 only serves as a boost, IMHO. I don't find it particularly useful or musical. It's a mild effect, kind of harsh and doesn't add sustain, IMHO. I've heard that the distortion circuit on other JC models is better. YMMV.
