I've always wondered this...has David Gilmour ever played any of Marc's pedals? Having the chance to own a few myself, I have to say they are not only wonderfully built and inspiring to play, but also really incredible tributes to a lot of the sounds (Gilmour in particular) we chase as musicians (either aspiring or professional/performing).

I would ask the same question about Corgan...but he's kind of an asshat.

I don't think so, at least not officially or on anything that's out there. It would probably save him a lot of time and board space if he did own one.

I thought the Wall Buster was at least made for one of David's touring guitarists... but it's early and I haven't had my coffee yet, so who knows. Someone wiser than me will chime in.

I believe that was Roger Waters guitarist on The Wall tour. I think his name is Dave Kilminster. Marc built him a Wall Buster for the tour.

Billy Corgan doesn't use any of Marc's pedals AFAIK. But they're some of the best Muff's made.

Great pedals, but I think Gilmour's setup is staying like it is.

Not anymore. Last I checked, there was a bit of a fallout between Devi and Billy.

I usually go for more of a "feel" type thing in an effort to duplicate the sound in my head or what I hear on an album. Obviously the original equipment used by the artist will have been different (and usually many times more complicated).

David doesn't need anybody to help him reproduce his own tones nor to simplify his setup. I'd love it if he'd invite me work with him, but who wouldn't. Between Cornish for custom stuff and his preference for either authentic copies of historic circuits or actual originals of vintage stuff, I think he has everything covered, though. He likes what he likes, and we all love him for it.
