The health of the company can and should be questioned. Henry J's word... also can and should be questioned. He's a lost leader. I don't think it's misguided to believe Gibson might be able to restore their one-time great name if they were sold.
To paraphrase Asia - "Only Time Will Tell.."
I own 3 Gibsons, I like them.
That reads like when a team states the coach has the full support of management, in other words, all the rumors are true.
The Norlin era was '69 - '86. Henry J has almost 24 years in. Most companies go on the block at some point.
What we should hope for, should that day come, is for a buyer who loves Gibson enough to stick around and maintain the brand.
