A thought (American Idol type shows content)

    So I'm watching American Idol with a friend's family, and it appears they have a live band that plays every song, from lots of different genres.

    Makes me wonder what those guitarists boards look like...

    I consider this as well. I think in that gig the lead guitarist uses a high quality multi-effect unit or a modeler. I think it's the only way to keep up with the never ending variety. I respect the guy's skills, but I recall noting weak tone and sometimes good tone. It works for the vehicle.

    just started a thread about this in the Amp Forum as it seems i see Bogners most often on those stages--a pretty good starting point i think.
