How clean can you get with the gain backed all the way off?

I think the breakup doesn't really start until around 2:00-3:00 position on the gain knob, so there is plenty of clean with this pedal. I use it to get a very convincing fender clean/slight breakup blackface sound through my Marshall JTM-45.

As I remember pretty clean and I have a BFT. I miss it enough to be buyin another one very shortly and may sell my Ecstasy. I think it's at least as clean as the Ecstasy in the Open position.

I have the gain switch down and the gain control set at about 2:00 and it's on the edge of breakup. I use a Strat into a DRRI and this pedal combined with a 19 Sixty 3 boost is pure BF heaven.
