    He was always an excellent drummer and seems to have stepped it up to new heights with this latest album! :)

    I agree with you on Ian Paice .... that guy had plenty of tasty licks back in the 70s.

    Over the years I've heard many drummers who were monstors (Moon, Paice, Bonham, Powell, Palmer, etc.) but I've never come to appreciate someone more for his skills than...Jeff Porcaro!

    Keith Moon was some drummer.

    There is scene in the "That'll Be the Day" film where Keith is a drummer with a cover band and Keith lets rip on the drums in a scene.

    Oh yeah, and Zappa's other drummers were all great too. My favorites were Vinnie C, and Chester Thompson. Great stuff from Aynsley Dunbar, Chad Wackerman, and Terry Bozzio, and Ralph Humphrey as well.
