AC15C1 & MXR 78 Badass Distortion??? Wow

I did the Diaz mod to my AC15C1 removing the bright caps on the TB channel and with the 78 Badass dist it sounds great?! Im shocked, I just wasnt expecting it to sound this good.

Dale...it does! The amp really responds to single coils and humbuckers much better as well.

I just got an AC15C1. Thinking of clipping the Brit cap. I have done a couplenDRRI's. Is the Vox pretty straight forward?
I just picked up a Badass OD too. Looking forward to cranking things up!!

I did the mod in mine although, well I clipped the one side and bent them back a little so the other side is still attached. I didn't notice a significant difference but it sounds great.
