    hi
I took lessons since one year but have to stop for a while so
I am considering buying Tomo Fujita's video/book or/and sheet of sound, but can't afford both at that time.
what woul'd you advise as first choice/step

I'm a beginner, can't read music but rythmic solfege(quite lazy about,I shall confess) need good basics to keep practising until I can take lessons again

    thanks

Sheets of Sound is too advanced for a beginner. Tomo's video is advanced also but has more material for a beginner to grasp.

I am making a new series of dvds.
When I finish it. I will send you one.

    Hi Rick,

    Which one?

I made Accelerate series in 1998.
Guitar first then I produced drums, bass and keyboard.
(each dvd I played "Just Funky" each version is different)

Now I have Accelerate guitar 1,2,3 my own and 10 others.
    (in Japan)

Hal Leonard sells guitar, bass , drums and keyboard.
HL is ready to release guitar 2,(more on soloing,
scales, scale forms, sequencings, ear training, blues etudes,
jazz etudes, classical etudes and walking bassline & comping
on all levels from easy exercises to challenging one),
    bass2, drums2, Acoustic guitar, Sax.... 9 dvds.

New dvd series are bit different.

Sorry Tomo, I wasn't specific... I'm familiar with your Accelerate series. You mentioned that you are now working on a new series in your original post. I was curious about what that was.

    Thanks!

    Jack,
Love your book by the way. :D

    Hi Rick,

That's ok. So you know my Accelerate series.

New series ... more toward "Etudes" based on chord changes
and each etude(section) has 6 variations. And each variation
connect each others and teach how to apply your own
and teach how to make more musical than just memorization.
..... something like that. Include R&B, Funk, Blues and Jazz.
    All levels.

I use Boss's Loop station to make musical ideas and
how to make parts/harmonization....... many demo
    performances.... more guitars...

I just finished this and Rittor music asked me
make another(different one) dvd... next one is about
Jazz guitar (easy for blues/rock people to understand)

    Thanks,

    Tomo
