    Dudes,

I need a new bag to carry my crap. I'm using an old duffel bag now and it's pretty much toast. I need a bag to carry my cables, strings, tubes, fuses, charts, gloves, etc.... and on and on- you know how it is.

So what are you guys using? I would like a padded bag because I usually have a few pedals in there as well. My current bag is about 21" x 14", so something in that size range would be good.

I've looked at luggage type stuff and it's either not the right size or there's no padding at all.

    Please post your suggestions.

    Thanks!

I use an access bag. This is what I know that I carry in it.
    Strings
    string winder and cutter
    3 guitar cables
    mic cable
    amp channel footswich
    small fold up guitar stand
    mic
    cable tester
    fuses
    tubes
    picks
    bussiness cards
    pens
    strobe tuner w/powersupply
    slide

I could put a few more small items in there if I needed to.

What is an Access bag? Can you post a website or brand name?

I use a wide-mouth tool bag I picked up at Home Depot for less than $20. Cheap, lots of internal pockets and with the wide mouth, it actually afford a bit of structure to the bag and some protection...

Here is what I just bought and I love it.

Bought it at Lowes (Home Depot type store for those that don't have 'em)
It's got semi-hard pockets on the outside (I always lose my sunglasses when I go to gigs or rehearsals) and it's got a nice pocket for those. TONS of storage, the bottom pocket on the front has pockets inside it for toos....and It's a backpack with great padded straps. It was $40 but I had a $10 coupon so it made it that much better.

I'm liking the tool bag idea. They must come in a variety of sizes and pocket configurations. I wonder if I can find a padded type tool bag? Hmmmm....

    Anybody else have ideas?

I have a Shure bag designed for records, with some nice spacious pouches in the front.

I looked for the perfect accessory bag for ages and finally got this.

These bags are so durable and have lots of compartments. The KEB 2033 sounds like it is in the size range you are looking for.

Yep- those ACE bags look good. I wish they had pics of the pockets, padding, and some open/inside shots on their site!
