Adding LED to Twin Reverb Footswitch

Has anyone successfully added a couple LEDs to a a Fender Twin Reverb Footswitch? The footswitch has the RCA jacks on it. I would just like to know when the reverb and vibrato are on/off. Thanks

You'll need a source of power for the LED's that's not currently there.

I imagine a 9v with a battery clip would work? Any ideas on how to wire it up?

May be easier to put the stock fender f/s away and buy an aftermarket one. Loop Master has a channel switcher for Fender type amps with LEDs for 60 dollars. He makes good quality stuff. You would need to buy a properly terminated cable for between the switcher and amp, but then you'll have your LEDs (you choose colour). These are usually 9v battery powered. It's more rugged then the oval fender switch for sure, and it's pedalboard friendly since the cord is detacheable.
