Little fella should be here in the USA by late next week if all goes well.
Beautiful Donnie! You're a lucky lad - that looks a lot like Ron's own guitar.
Is that a trem bridge w/o the arm?
It is a trem bridge. The arm was not included in the picture. I only hope it is like Ron's which I got to play a bit a couple months back. Sweet axe!
lemme guess, Soundpal?
Yup. If I'd only known about them a couple of months ago he'd have been mine sooner. I have a carved top Artisan Deluxe on order (should be completed springtime 2007) that'll be a lot more top shelf looks and feature wise but from what I've gathered these past few months a Standard slab limba P90 is just about the prototypical Thorn model.
I feel very fortunate to have stumbled across this one.
no kidding..that'd be my dream guitar for the short term...i've got a schroeder that'll be done sometime in 2006.
Sweet looking Thorn!
Do you have a link for Soundpal?
Friggin awesome man. Thats some good looking orphan. =)
Congrats Donnie. When this one arrives from afar you might need to take some FMLA time or "bonding time" away from your work The most important time to create a strong bond is in the first week.:AOK
Traveling that distance is going to be tiresome for this one, so give it 10 min. after it arrives before you to plug it in a dime the amp
FMLA? Vats dis?
Actually I've already bonded with #119 in a spiritual sense, now I only need to consummate things from a physical standpoint!
10 minutes may be tough. I'll do my best. :AOK
Now I just need to track down my identical twin.
Adopted a Japanese orphan as well - from the same orphanage (Soundpal). And it´s a killer guitar: Gibson Les Paul Special with bound neck which nearly smokes my No. 1 and 2 (Les Paul Standard Premium Plus and Hamer Artist Custom). Replaced the P-100´s in the meantime with Lollar P-90´s - a match in heaven !
