I got this "Ads my cheap coupon" crap on my screen every time I go to any website a big white screen comes over the screen of the website and I have to "X" it out. Frustrating as HELL. Even does it here on TGP.. I have ad blocker and it still gives me this crap. Anyone have any ideas how to get this crap off my system?

It sounds like malware, but we have no idea what kind of "system" you're using. Help us to help you.

I guess that info WOULD help. Sorry. I am using a PC w/Windows xp. I did a system restore and it stopped but I am guessing that didnt actually get rid of the malware. Thanks you guys.

Thanks for recommending Malwarebytes. They found 68(!!) threats in my system. All are quarantined, but it aksed me if I want to restore any of them. IS there any reason why I would want to do that? Thanks again!!

Sometimes Malwarebytes will identify things that people may want. So they give you the option to restore them.

I typically just delete them all, then if something is needed, I reload it clean.

I see. Also, it says that it is a trial. Do you happen to know how long the trial period is? Thanks again. That is a great program..

Well, there is a trial for the "active scanning". I never use it, just let it expire. You can use the passive scanner whenever you like.
