I've been really playing around with my Ecstasy's settings lately (101b) and I feel as if I'm "fighting" with the red channel a lot.
It is as if I cannot get it to that point.
Whether its the actual sound or the fact that it shares an eq with the blue channel, I'm not sure.
Or maybe its just too compressed sometimes and sometimes I wish for over the top gain.
I have tried boosting it with my Rat.

This had led me to start looking at other amps.
    What would you guys recommend?
    I love the blue channel.
I'm into "Marshall-esque" sounding amps and the Bogner is kind of perfect for it since it combines a Marshall with a Mesa sound..
    I'm looking at:
    1) VHT Sig:X (but am worried that it might not pull off that Marshall-esque tone well)
    2) EVH 5150 III (not too thrilled with lack of options)
    3) Marshall JVM (haven't played one yet, read a wide variety of mixed reviews)
    4) ENGL INVADER or SE (not sure which one I would prefer, but am worried it might sound too hi-fi and not be able to do that Marshall-esque sound)

My fifth option is trying to get it modded by Mark Cameron.. but not sure if I wanna invest more money in this amp.

    What would you guys recommend?

Sixth would consider the CAA OD-100

It sounds tempting but I'm kind of hoping for a three channel amp.
If it was 3 channels I would pick it up in a heart beat.

Not sure how different the channels are on the Ecstasy. The OD-100 DOES have a boost on the lead channel which adds quite a bit of distortion. I don't know if that would do it for you. Good luck.
