Good evening-
i have a G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy-and I'm really not digging the humbucker in there-
I have a Harmonic Design 54 Special in the bridge which I quite like-
but the humbucker is lacking-
I'm looking for power without gain-lots of bass power-not sure if these are exclusive-and very articulate with note definition-
The ability to handle gain and still be articulate would be swell as well-
playing through an Orange AD 30 into a 1 X 15" & 2 X 12"
thanks so much

Personally, I think that the Fralin P-92 is perfect in the neck of a Tele. It is articulate and eliminates the mud associated with pickups in that position. Lindy will wind it to meet your power requirements but the ones that I have in the neck position are wound to 8,000 turns.

Hmmmm. Man that looks delicious.

On my Fender thinline the humbuckers are larger than 'standard' size.It may not be the same with a G&L but you might want to check to see if aftermarket pickups will fit.Mine are the Wide Range models with staggered pole pieces.
