If I sell what I'm trying to sell I'm thinking about pickup up a cheap LP style guitar w/ P90s. Looking at these two, among others. There's a significant difference in price between these models. For those who've played both, please share your thoughts on the comparison.

    Thanks.

IMO, the AL-3000 & AL-3100 are worth the extra money. Better pickups and a whole lot more.

Here's my AL-3100 in Bird's Eye Maple top. Only downside, it is heavy.

i have a 2000 but it was gutted and rebuit with new pups pots, very nice aftermarket bridge some nice wilk tuners, a switch craft toggle.. new pups.. but the neck on it is amazing although not ebony and no aboloniy enlay. the cat i bought it from did a complete rebuild on it.. so the differences is Cap vs No Cap, na i cant really tell when playing one vs the other.. i think a cap has a brighter sound.. but its so slim its not really worth noting.. mho..

na,, got it for a steal or 200 bucks with case so i duno.. stock 2k vs stock 3k.. i guess it depends on if you are into modding or not.. prices are going up next year so,,

    sorry photo time..

The AL3000 is more than worth the extra money. I've got both.
