Okay, so I found this rather cheesy Stray Cats backing track on the net, complete with honky-tonk piano, and couldn't resist playing along. Try not to laugh too much, and please ignore my bad timing!

The amp is an Intruder 50 (plexi mode) with greenbacks for rhythm, scumback's for lead. The guitar is my strat with DiMarzio FS-1 blade humbucker in front for rhythm, and an FS-1 in the middle for lead. Recorded into my Presonus Firepod and Cubase, no attempt at EQ, compression or anything, just an SM57 and a little (okay, a lot!) of the reverb patch that comes with Cubase LE.

Thanks, guys, you're too kind. :)

I don't have any "pro" soundclips on my site, but if you go to the "Artists" page, you'll find some that owners have contributed.

It was in plexi mode, with the bright volume around 12:00 and the dark volume around 10:00. I don't remember where the tone controls were set, I was just going for a clean tone with the next pickup of my strat for the rhythm and a bit funkier tone with the middle pickup for the lead.

Thanks buddy. Can't get a bad tone out of my Intruder 30, just figuring out how to dial it in...my first amp of this type ya know? :) Thanks for all your help.

Sounds great Randall. Especially great through my studio monitors, even without the sub. You ought to pair that 57 with an Audix i5, swear to God, match made in heaven for the Sabre both clean and dirty.
