What a beast, the beginning is awesome when he sings with the guitar... great piano blues playing too... with a leslie rolling in the background... wow. He does not mess around... nor even need to wear his guitar strap across his body! lol--enjoy

The Iceman is often overlooked here; he was a true original and as funky as grandma's bathwater.

He's in my top 5 with out doubt. Just LOVE everything about his playing.

There's no video but this is my favorite song of all time of his.

Seymour played with Albert, so I trust his assessment.

I had forgotten that he was another guy who picked with his fingers.

    Hey, thanks for posting.
AC is my all time favourite electric blues player. I listen to him every time I have to go and do a blues show. He gets me right into it.

Piano player has a real Gene Harris vibe goin' on.

The best gig I ever saw was Albert Collins. Probably my all time favorite of the lead guitar guys.

When I first moved to Nashville to tour with my blues band, we were pretty much the only blues guys around. Everytime we played, some hot country picker would jam and shred some blues..lol My remedy was always my best Collins and so much so that it has become my way of playing as far as phrasing and fills....

I also got to tour with Johnny B, Alberts bass player forever when I was with Larry McCray. I just felt cooler knowing that guy....:p

Also my favorite tune is Dirty Dishes. I had never heard anyone be so expressive with a guitar before that....
