Loved this band since I was a little kid and to this day, I enjoy playing along. Incredible guitar tones, killer vocals, just the whole package. This song is one of my all-time favorites tracks. Oddly, it never appeared on any studio LPs back in the day...

His name is on the tip of my tongue. I think they only recorded one song with him. Ronnie Lane was amazing. -E

That's Tetsu Yamauchi. Not sure if I got the spelling right. But, he's great- he also played in Free.

"His reputation's bigger than gasoline." I don't quite know what that means, but it's genius.

I love 1:39 when McLagan's cup falls off the keyboard.

I'm pretty sure he only featured on the farewell tour(s).

I've just bought the boxed set 'Five Guys Walk Into A Bar...' and although it's patchy the really good stuff more than compensates for the odd bit of dross.

Tetsu replaced Ronnie Lane when he left to form Slim Chance.

I met them after their incredibly drunk concert at Shady Grove Md.
I sat on the stage for the entire show, what a blast!
    The ultimate party band.

After the show, the band's limo followed my '67 Datsun Roadster
    to Dulles International Airport.

We sat in the lounge there and Ronnie was still drinking ?Crown Royal?

I had also seen them open for Janis Joplin with Jeff Beck
    at the Alexandria Roller Rink.

They were so talented together and I'm just glad they survived
their insane behavior in the early days.

Ron Wood was the first player to introduce me to open tunings and slide guitar- back when I was just a wee lad. Huge influence.
