All rosewood neck?

The Music Man Silhouette Special I am picking up next week has an all rosewood neck. Can someone tell me what it feels like compared to a maple neck with a rosewood board? I'm afraid it will feel weird. Any feedback is welcome!

I think solid rosewood feels great in the hand. I also like the fatter tone it has as compared to maple.

I recently put one on my Strat and I like it a lot. Feels great, sounds great. Sustains better than the maple/ rosewood I had. Fatter, it's a 59 carve from Warmoth. No way I would go back.
Here it is.

Ι had an Indian RW neck/Brazilian RW fretboard in an ash body strat. A RW neck does not need a finish and it's smooth in the beginning. If you play it a lot it will need an oil treatment like any RW fretboard. Mine after four years of use became sticky and needed oil. I sold it and replaced it with a maple/pau ferro neck. I liked the sound with the RW neck and I like it even more now. It's more open & sparkly and the satin nitro finish on the maple neck it's smoother than the no finish neck.

I've tried a few rosewood necked guitars and in every case the guitar's had a low mid emphesis that I didn't care for. Loved the feel of the raw wood on the neck though. You gotta go with what works best for you.

One of the best guitars I've ever played was an all rosewood neck PRS, it was indeed magnificent. OTOH a friend installed a Warmoth all rosewood neck on his Japanese Strat, and it was not at all worth the money. It did feel better than a film finish, but did not help the tone and playability at all. We liked the original maple much better. So I guess YMMV.

They feel *great*. The RW neck on my tele is silky smooth, plus it adds a touch of low end and smooths out the potentially sharp highs of this guitar.

I've got two PRS and a MusicMan with rosewood necks - my favorite neck wood, for sure. Great feel in the hand, with warm and resonant tone.
