    Some of the guitar sound - esp. in the solos - came from the overhead mikes

    left side: Gretsch 6131MY with tvclassics -fd2 (off) - dl4 (off) -mm4 (fender type tremolo) - 50w multitone, 25w mode, ch. 2., (bass low; volume: 10; gain: 4-5 [guitar volume was turned down most of the time]) - mojotone marshall style 2x12" using only celestion alnico blue (miked on No good death) & mojotone tremolus style 2x10 using only weber 10a150 (miked on all songs but No good Death) into a sm57
    Very little compressor added

    Right side: variax 500 - 10 year old rivera (100w with 4 el34s in 50 watt mode) - behringer 4x12" cab into a good mike (condenser, I believe)
    lots of compressor added

    yes, tvtrons are great! They do everything from Beatles to the Who and AC/DC perfectly.
