I was about to pick up a Nose micro volume pedal the other day, when I read on here that people were having trouble with orders, etc., so I held off. I still want a little knob actuated volume control--NOT a volume pedal--but I'm not sure where to look.

Anyone have a good suggestion for an alternative to the Nose micro volume that is similar?

That might do the trick, but it's awfully expensive.

Anyone else have any suggestions for a simple, knob based volume pedal?

Either build your own, (they aren't too hard to make), or the classic audio model. I do believe Saturn works makes them, or will by special request. The only other option is T1m, and you might as well order from nose if your gonna order from t1m.

If you are located in/near a decent size city, find a local tech or DIY pedal builder to make one for you.

Or better yet make it your first DIY project!

I don't want to build my own, really. I just want to pick up something simple and compact that'll do the trick.

Incidentally, does anyone have a recommendation for what kind of pot is best in this sort of volume pedal--250k?

What's your signal chain and where in the chain will it be?

Bingo and they will even install the pot you need. I highly recommend, have purchased two pedals from this gent, one directly from Reverb.com and the other thru direct email correspondence thru their website: http://saturnworkspedals.com/

Great builds, quick communication, prices are right.
