Great playing, thanks for posting!
That's some of the most melodic, beautiful slide playing. Fantastic.
i saw the tour in Toronto. George’s voice was rough due to illness. I recall being pleased with his guitar work. He played the red LP, Rocky, the pristine 50’s Strat and a natural finished rosewood board Strat. Obviously, he played While My Guitar ..., don’t recall any other songs but it was a fun show!
Youtube George doing Cloud Nine live - superb!
I've never heard this, fantastic, George and Alvin! Thanks for postin'!
Thanks for the correction.
That was wonderful! It's new to me. Thanks for posting OP.
Never heard that! Thanks. George had such a vocal style with his slide playing, and so melodic. Like a beautiful singing voice that is never tying to show off, yet gets all the attention.
No problem guys! As I said, it was completely new to me as well. Always happy to pass along some great music!
Hard to believe he's been gone a little over 18 years.
Yes...it's sad. I remember hearing the news about it and was so sad to hear it.
The version of I want you she’s so heavy on that album is also absolutely killer!
