Alvin Lee Live at Ohne Filter Germany..

    Good stuff. I've always liked Alvin Lee. I caught a Ten Years Later show in Dallas back in the 70's, with the Dixie Dregs opening. (Morse was incredible in that format.)

    TYL comes out on the stage to begin their show, and Alvin immediately says "who the **** turned my amp down!" He heads back to his stack, makes an adjustment, and they were off to the races.

    Fun times!

    Know much about that guitar he's playing?

    Nice to see he still uses Marshall stacks! I saw him in 71' with three stacks. Ahh the 70's....

    Alvin and TYA were big early influences.

    In retrospect, it would seem Alvin was probably the prototypical shredder.
