I listened to a really great version of Amazing Grace posted here a few days ago and was inspired to go find my amateur recording of it done last year.
This was all done on the Ipad (Garageband), using a combination of Garageband's amp sims, a Line 6 HD500, and various standalone effects.
The acoustic on the track was my 1954 Gibson J-54 and was DI'd using an LR Baggs DI.
The electrics are a mix of a 1970's Les Paul Custom, a 1960's Fender Jazzmaster, and a funky old Silvertone U1.
I essentially stole this version from Greg V. because I loved is arrangement of the tune so much. This isn't meant for profit of course, and really was just me having fun playing around with Garageband.
