Amp Choices

Hello,

I trying to decide which amp to buy. I looking for a tube combo for around $1000 and have been looking at the 68 Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue, Fender Deluxe Reissue and the Peavey Delta Blues. I play strats and use pedals and play blues and classic rock so any suggestions will be appreciated

Delta Blues is a 1X15. The Classic 30 however is a 1X12, and its pretty much the same amp without the tremolo. But if a 15" doesn't bother you...

Either the C30 or DB would be my rec in this case. Yeah, the Fenders ARE Fenders, but the Peavey's have a stronger output, sell for less in most cases, and they're renowned for being durable workhorses. They're pretty clean for your pedals, although depending on what pedals you use, they can sound a little on the harsher side. Are your Strats all sc's?

yeah you really can't go wrong with the Peaveys or Fender Hot Rod Deluxe/Blues deluxe. They are under your budget and are used everywhere. You might be able to find a Mesa 5:50 combo used under 1000 if you look. They are pretty killer with pedals and are light and sound bigger than their size to boot.

I would also check out Traynor YGL series or YGM if you want high quality on a budget.

I'd take the Peavey over the reissue Deluxes or Hot Rods, but I'd take a silverface Deluxe Reverb over all.

The Prosonic is always worth a look. I swapped speaker with Jensens to bring it all the way over to the Fender side.

Wait for a 15% off sale at MF and get a 65 PRRI... that was my choice after much research for a Christmas present to myself.

I happened to come across a 78 Deluxe Reverb Silverface for $1000 and decided to buy it after playing it in the store and hearing how great it sounded. Really exited about the amp and can't wait to put it through it's paces
