I started by posting this in the amp section and now realize that was probably the wrong forum.

Can you help out please, looking for some techy help. I want to add a simple toggle switch to my Budda SD 45 cooling fan. Simple on/off toggle. Do I insert it on the black wire or the red wire? Just wondering which wire would be carrying power to the fan.

    Thanks for any help.

You'll want to switch the red wire if using a SPST switch.

If you get a DPST switch you can switch both wires at the same time.......either way will work fine
