    For PC.
So...how is this supposed to load the presets?
Do you plug everything in, start the program and it uploads everything to the editor?...cause mine doesn't.
Do you have to click on each slot and load one at a time?...cause this is very slow and hangs on various slots, not completing.
Refresh all names doesn't work either.
I would think upon starting the editor it would connect with the hardware and upload the preset which should happen pretty fast, but I must be missing something.

    Abort current opperation (sic)
    Udpate (sic) firmware

The editor sucks very badly, at least for me on a Mac with Maveriks, worked good the first few times, now its totally useless.

On my Mac, I need to have the Amplifire plugged in and powered up before launching the program. If I launch the program before plugging in the unit, it won't load the patches at all.

I've tried it both ways...does it load the presets automatically, when it works?
I can't get it to do a backup either.

It does for me. When load the editor, it takes about 30 seconds to load them all up. It's all automatic.

I just loaded Jay's IR's no problem. First user IR's I've ever done. I'm on Mac 10.9.2 Mavericks.

    My steps:

    1) Download IR. These from Jay on GP. I put them on my desktop.
    2) USB is plugged in and Amplifire is powered
    3) Editor opened.
    4) Cabinets opened
    5) Load user 0 clicked
    6) There it is--it's also on the hardware.

    That's exactly what it does.

Takes a minute or longer. There's a barber-pole progress bar in the upper left corner of the editor that lets you know it's loading.

So I inadvertently said "preset" instead of "presets".
Is it supposed to load all presets automatically upon connecting?
When I run the editor it says in the window "Processing: 0 (1of 1)" with the barber pole action, then it changes to "connected" with the barber pole still turning and no presets loaded.
If move the mouse to a slot and click it loads some of the time and hangs some of the time.
I've tried all different connection sequences and rebooted the Amplifire but not getting any auto loading of presets.

Oh the joys of a software product launch. Assuming they have somebody working on the editor it should get better pretty soon, all the bugs I have read about so far sound like easy fixes in the code.

We're here listening to feedback but the best way to help move things forward if you're having an issue with the editor is to send and email to Atomic's support@ address.

Please tell us in as much detail possible what issue(s) you're experiencing including the type of computer, OS, version you using, a description of the bug and what you were doing just before it happened as well as any details you feel are pertinent.

We are simultaneously working on Firmware 1.1 for AmpliFIRE and an update for the editor. We're addressing as many editor bugs as possible. Thanks for your help!

I have sometimes had that issue of it never loading the presets. Im on a mac, os 10.10.

I haven't tried to pinpoint the issue because shutting down the editor and relaunching it once or twice usually gets it to all work correctly, but I think the reason it does this may be because of other apps that are open. I don't recall it ever hanging up if it is the first thing I do or if I haven't opened any audio apps before going to the editor.

I think it's spotty, bro. When I used it yesterday, I believe it loaded up all the presets and displayed them in the Editor's window.

However, today, it would only pull them up one at a time when I'd click on the preset's spot in the Editor.

    I'm on a PC with Windows 8.

Love the unit, but the editor(W7 64) is very bugfilled and slow. Loading multiple IR's is a horror show.

Is everybody sending these issues to Atomic's support email address? I saw another thread that Tom King posted in asking for us to do just that.
